Forestry Wool blankets are designed in the Netherlands and produced in Europe from pure New Zealand wool.

Forestry Wool was established in 2013 by Virginia Star Busmann. With a bachelors degree in visual art from Auckland School of Art, a career in design and a passion for wool and textiles, coupled with a move from her home country New Zealand in 2009 to the colder climate of the Netherlands, triggered the inspiration to create a blanket collection with her own unique style of design.

Soft, generously sized and surprisingly light – and of course luxuriously thick and warm, the Abstract Blanket in Grey is a beautiful update on the classic wool blanket.
